Suzanne Lombardi, owner of the two The Plate restaurants in town, is the guest on a new episode of “Broad Appeal.” Host Melissa Fassel Dunn talks with this in-town entrepreneur about her background in sculpture, how she moved on to co-found the Dancing Deer Baking Company, as well as other steps along the way to creating and running a local favorite food destination. Also pick up useful life tips and a recipe from deep in the woods up near the Canadian border when this program airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and Thursdays at 9 a.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).
The Portrait in Jazz quintet closed out the Fuller Village Gazebo Concert Series recently, covering the entire spectrum of 20th Century American jazz, from New Orleans to show tunes to gospel, with some blues and Latin music mixed in as well. Savor the last few weeks of summer with this performance that is currently airing on the Public channel during Music Thursday at 7 p.m.
