The Fall Music Series kicked off at the Milton Art Center this past week with a performance by Quincy-based band The Van Burens. Among the styles used to describe them are: reggae, funk, soul, and rock and roll, along with others. The energy is high, and the atmosphere is fun at this concert that MATV cameras were on-hand to record. It is currently airing on Tuesday evenings at 8:30 p.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).
The Milton Art Center and host Franc Graham held the first Open Mic of the fall recently, with a full lineup of local talent taking over the stage at 334 Edge Hill Road. Strummers, singers and more fill out this melodic and lyrical program that rounds out Music Thursdays, airing at 8 p.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).
