Please note, MATV will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veterans Day.
We’ve also just launched an updated version of our Video OnDemand service via our website, www.miltonaccesstv.org, with new organization, layout and features. There’s a video in our November e-newsletter explaining how to use everything. We hope you find it useful.
Here’s what’s new on MATV this week.
You can view all of the following programs on our Video OnDemand page by clicking here.
Former Boston Bruins star Terry O’Reilly recently led the official Bruins Alumni team in a hockey game against Milton Youth Hockey coaches at a full-capacity Ulin Rink. The game raised money for the youth hockey program, and showcased many familiar Bruins players from over the years. The MATV recording of this event is currently airing on Monday evenings at 9 p.m. after Monday Forum concludes, as well as Thursdays at noon, both on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).
The Master Plan Implementation Committee recently held a joint meeting with the Selectmen and the Planning Board for a discussion of Milton Landing/Wharf Area planning efforts. Major changes are being proposed at the waterfront on the Neponset River estuary. Tune in to see what the plan is and watch the discussion as this program airs at noon on the Government channel (Comcast 8/RCN 3) seven days a week.
The annual Fall into Reading event at the Milton Public Library featured a wide variety of local authors showcasing their recently published books. From bestsellers to first-timers, from fiction to wellness to children’s books, this rapid-fire program is a great way to learn about what the writers from in and around town have to offer. It will air during the Monday Forum at 8 p.m.
