And, here’s what’s new on MATV this week:
(You can view all of the following programs on our Video OnDemand page by clicking here.)
The town recently held its annual Memorial Day Observance, culminating at the Milton Cemetery. This year’s keynote speaker was Master Chief Petty Officer, U.S. Navy and Command Master Chief at the U.S. Naval War College, Craig R. Cole. If you were unable to attend the ceremony, or would simply like to view it again, this program is currently airing on the Government channel (Comcast 8/RCN 3) daily at 9 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 6 p.m.
The Milton High School Small Ensembles Concert featured a number of musical groups with a variety of musical styles, from jazz to classical to choral and more. See the incredible talent that our town’s students have to offer when this showcase airs seven days a week at 7 p.m. on the Education channel (Comcast 22/RCN15).
Immediately following the concert, stayed tuned to the Education channel as Milton High School recognizes its student musicians at the annual MHS Music Awards Night ceremony. Top talent as well as great attitude and effort all get their just due, along with trophies, plaques and a lot of fun as well. This broadcast airs seven days a week at 8:30 p.m.
Movies “The Rider,” “A Quiet Place” and “Deadpool 2“ are all up for review and under the microscope on a new episode of “Reel Talk with Eileen Maher.” Some she and her co-host, Paul Healy, liked, and some they definitely didn’t. Turn your dial to the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) at 8 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to get the scoop.
As it does every year, the Milton Rotary Club brought the best of Milton High School’s jazz and big band-style musical talent to the residents of Fuller Village for the annual Rotary Pops Concert. The ability of these young artists was on full display for this yearly event, and Miltonians can enjoy it on their own televisions during the Rotary Hour on Monday afternoons at 4 p.m. on the Public channel.
