Selectman Mike Zullas, one of the three newly-elected Selectmen, was the guest on “My Town Matters” this past week. He joined host Frank Schroth for a wide-ranging talk covering issues such as cut-through traffic, development, opportunities for youth, capital needs and the structure of the now-five-member board, among others, including the stalled East Milton deck and Hendries building projects. Join this discussion about the future of the town as it airs Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).

Runners circled the town in the annual Milton Road Race, in both the 5K and the 10K. Elite athletes blazed through the course, while those in it for fun, fitness, charity and to challenge themselves also cruised by the MATV cameras. See if you can find some people you know when this program airs Thursdays at 1 p.m. on the Public channel.

Alison O’Leary recently spoke at Fuller Village about the book that she co-authored, “Inns and Adventures: A History and Explorer’s Guide to New Hampshire, Vermont and the Berkshires.” She discussed the best tips that she discovered while touring the countryside by foot, bike and car with her co-author Michael Tougias in this lecture that is currently airing at 5 p.m. during the Monday Forum on the Public channel.

Closing out the year in music at Pierce Middle School, the 7th and 8th Grade Spring Concert showcased the talents of the rising stars in the Milton school system in a performance featuring various instrumental ensembles as well as choruses. Catch this final concert of the school year as it airs seven days a week at 8:30 p.m. on the Education channel (Comcast 22/RCN 15).

The Herbie Ray Quartet was the first act of the summer at the Fuller Village gazebo, and they kicked things off with their renditions of American Songbook favorites. Tune in to this outdoor concert as it airs on Tuesday evenings at 5 p.m. on the Public channel.
