Here’s what’s new on MATV this week:

For parents with children turning ages 3 or 4 before Sept. 1 of this year, the Milton Public Schools recently held its Preschool Information Night where preschool staff and administrators outlined the similarities and differences in the programs offered by the district during the 2019-20 school year. Tune in for this program when it airs at 8 p.m. on the Education channel (Comcast 22/RCN 15) seven days a week.

The Pierce Players are putting on “High School Musical Jr.” this weekend, and some of the actors spoke to MATV cameras for a behind-the-scenes preview. Hear about what their favorite parts of the show, as well as what to look for when you attend the show. This brief promotional video is playing all over the MATV Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) at various times, so tune in whenever you can to get a peek.

Bestselling and award-winning mystery novel author Hallie Ephron is back on the set of “It’s All Write with Suzette” to talk about her newest book, “You’ll Never Know, Dear.” She chats with host Suzette Martinez Standring about the spooky origins of this latest work, as well as her process for plot and character creation, including shedding some light on how the big secret at the end of the story was something that wasn’t even on her radar when she started writing the book. This episode is currently airing on the Public channel Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30 p.m.

Curry College professor Grant Burrier was back at Fuller Village to deliver his latest lecture, “Survey of Argentine Politics and Culture Part II: Military Dictatorship through Democratic Period,” where he explores the dynamics of Argentina’s shift from being one of the richest countries in the world at the end of the 19th Century to struggling to keep up with some other South American countries today. This talk is currently airing during the Monday Forum at 6:30 p.m. on the Public channel.
