Back for a second year, the Milton Art Center’s Youngblood II concert featured talented young musicians from town playing in a stripped down, folk/pop-style setting, with performers including Sky Fortes, Dominik Hyppolite, Victorian Breakfast, Edward Enyedy, Eowyn Young, Hysterical Irony, Bella Fiske, The Temporaries, Esme and Kate, Corey Hales, Ben Garrity, Pit, and more. Tune in Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) to check it out.
Milton High recently put on its Spring Concert, featuring myriad musical groups including the MHS orchestra, string and brass ensembles, chamber groups, choirs and jazz band. This showcase of talented students covered a wide range of genres and was full of fine performances. It’s currently playing seven evening a week on the Education channel at 7 p.m.
Summer Reading is here again at the Milton Public Library, and this month’s Page Turner library update has all the information parents and kids need to get off on the right foot. See what events the library has in store for residents before people start taking off for vacation when this program airs Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7 a.m. as well as Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m., all on the Public channel.
MATV’s spring intern Chelsea Conroy did a great job helping out with production over the past three months, and the Curry College graduating senior was kind enough to be the focus of this month’s Creator Spotlight. It’s airing all around our schedule, so tune in when you can to hear about what her experience with us has been like. Good luck, Chelsea, and thanks for all your good work!
