This month our Creator Spotlight series focuses on one of our production volunteers, MHS sophomore Daniel Truog. He sits down in our studio to talk about what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera, and being in charge of capturing footage for programs that end up on MATV airwaves. Novelist Hank Phillippi Ryan is back in the hot seat on “It’s All Write with Suzette” to talk about her new thriller, “Trust Me.” The longtime Channel 7 news reporter and bestselling writer joins host Suzette Standring for an in-depth look at how this new book came about, much of which surprised even its author. This program is currently airing on the Public channel Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30 p.m.

Staring off the new year on “Broad Appeal” is Ashley Mason, owner of Dash of Social, a social media consulting group for female owned businesses that helps entrepreneurs amplify their online presence. As always, there are some great tips anyone can use in their own life, as well as an inspiring story of how this self-made woman made it happen for her. Catch this show Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and Thursdays at 9 a.m. on the Public channel.
