Looking ahead to the town’s Nov. 11 Veterans Day Observance, “Reel Talk” host Eileen Maher speaks with town Director of Veterans Services Kevin Cook as well as Barbara Martin of the Selectmen’s Office. In addition to discussing a number of outstanding war documentaries and fictional films about armed conflicts, the group weighs in on what to expect at the annual observance at Town Hall as well as larger issues relating to veterans and the U.S. military at-large. Tune in for this new episode when it airs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 8 p.m.

Parkway United Methodist Church hosted its Jazz Concert on the Lawn recently, featuring the music of Milton High School jazz band False Lightning. Tune into this outdoor musical showcase for the tunes as well as words from congregants and members of the Milton Interfaith Clergy Association. This program is currently airing on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) during Music Thursdays.

Porches and verandas all along Central Avenue and surround neighborhoods were transformed into stages on a recent Saturday afternoon, as the Milton Porchfest saw families strolling through the streets and taking in the live music at many different locations. MATV cameras captured some of the action, and you can take a look yourself as some highlights from the Milton Porchfest 2017 are broadcast on Thursday evenings at 5 p.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).
