The statewide ballot question on hospital nurse staffing is up for discussion on a new episode of “My Town Matters,” as Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton Director of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine Dan Nadworny joins host Frank Schroth to give the hospital’s perspective on this hot-button topic. Tune in to the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m. to check out this conversation.
Paranormal expert, author, and TV host and writer Jeff Belanger recently dropped by the Milton Public Library to speak about his ghost-hunting adventures around the globe in a presentation titled “Ghosts and Legends.” In this spooky talk, the speaker shares some of his most interesting investigations, tidbits about his own background and how he got into this profession, as well as interesting folklore from around the world. Get into the Halloween spirit when this program airs during the Monday Forum at 8 p.m. on the Public channel.
Courtney Dolan and Jed Dolan, of Dolan Funeral Home, recently visited the Council on Aging for an interactive discussion about the importance of pre-planning for the end of life. It’s not a subject that anyone likes to talk about, but doing so is something that makes things much easier on family members and helps things go according to one’s wishes. This informational session is currently airing on the Public channel at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings.
