The recent MHS Hurricane Relief Concert was an inspirational night of music, raising funds to aid recovery efforts in Puerto Rico after the island territory was devastated by Hurricane Maria. Milton High student musicians came together to offer a wide-ranging show that featured the MHS Chorus, Chamber Orchestra, jazz band the Cellar Dwellers, cast of the MHS musical “Pippin,” special guest Pauline Wells and a spectacular finale by the Wildcat Marching Band. Don’t miss this special performance as it airs on MATV’s Education channel (Comcast 22/RCN 15) Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, Sunday at 4 p.m.
The beloved Broadway musical “Pippin” is coming to town with a production put on by Milton High School that debuts Nov. 2. MATV visited a recent rehearsal and heard first-hand from the stars of the show about the everything to expect, including big musical numbers, acrobatics and one of the biggest sets ever put together by the MHS Drama Department. This special behind-the-scenes preview is currently airing at many times across the schedule on all three MATV channels: Government (Comcast 8/RCN 3), Public (Comcast 9/RCN 13) and Education (Comcast 22/RCN 15).
