Maddy Hoy was the featured performer at this month’s MAC Open Mic, bringing her original songwriting, singing and ukulele strumming back from college to the stage where she started performing, this time for a full set. The “uke” seemed to be an unofficial theme for the night, as fresh faces and monthly regulars alike also played tunes on the tiny but powerful instrument. Tune in to the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) during Music Thursday at 8 p.m. for this performance.
