The Milton Foundation for Education’s Outstanding Teacher of the Year Awards is an annual celebration that lauds the best of the best among the town’s amazing educators. The schools are often referred to as the town’s crown jewels, so tune in to find out who is setting the standard and why they are so worthy of praise, when this program airs at 5 p.m. each day on the Education channel (Comcast 22/RCN 15).

Congratulations to the Milton High School Class of 2019! Graduation ceremonies were aired live on MATV, but you can go back and listen to all the speakers and see your favorite Wildcats accept their diplomas during a rebroadcast of the proceedings on the Education channel (Comcast 22/RCN 15) at 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. each day.

Pierce Players spring production is “Mary Poppins Jr.” and the stars of the show took a moment out of their busy rehearsal regimen to give a preview of what the audience is in for, including impressive stagecraft, period costumes and the themes that connect to the actors on a personal level. 100-year-old U.S. Navy veteran Natalie Fultz was the keynote speaker at the annual Memorial Day Observance held at Milton Cemetery. Having served in WWII as well as the Korean War, she shared her unique perspective on legacy, responsibility and remembrance, alongside other speakers and musical accompaniment from MHS musicians, in this ceremony that is currently airing Tuesdays at 5 p.m. and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).

MHS musicians were back at Fuller Village for the 2019 rendition of the annual concert sponsored by the Milton Rotary Club. This intimate concert featured chamber ensembles comprising both jazz and classical styles. Tune in for this musical tradition as it airs Monday afternoons on the Public channel at 4 p.m.
