Here’s what’s new on MATV this week:

Runners pushed themselves to personal bests in the 42nd Annual Milton Road Race, which recently took over streets along its 10-kilometer course. It seems that ever more young people, many not even in their teens yet, are going wire-to-wire in this event. See who you know among this field of fit athletes when MATV’s coverage of the race airs on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) Thursdays at 1 p.m.

Pearl Wachman is back in her seat at the head of the table, hosting “Fuller Talks.” This month the panel takes a bird’s-eye view of the broad financial issues that the town is facing, and also takes a look at the reports coming from the U.S. Navy via the New York Times citing mysterious unidentified flying objects over the Pacific Ocean. Pull a seat up to the table for this conversation that is currently airing on the Public channel at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.

The Quincy Choral Society recently presented Johannes Brahms’ “A German Requiem” at St. Mary of the Hills Church. Featuring soprano Elizabeth Swanson and baritone Craig Juricka, piano accompanists Virginia Grimes and Stephan Griffin, and conductor Joshua Rohde, as well as many Milton residents among the company of singers, the recording of this concert is currently airing during Music Thursday at 5 p.m. on the Public channel.

Guitarist and singer Jeremy Blanchard was the featured performer at the June edition of the MAC Open Mic, sharing his original compositions as well as anecdotes and insights into his songwriting and artistic style. There were also a few new faces on the Milton Art Center stage, so tune in to the Public channel during Music Thursday at 8:30 p.m. for all the action.
