Bestselling science-fiction author Gene Doucette joins host Suzette Standring on the set of “It’s All Write with Suzette” to discuss his craft as well as his popular novel, “The Spaceship Next Door,” and it’s brand new sequel, “The Frequency of Aliens.” The author talks about how he has progressed in style and subject matter, what drives him to take on certain projects, as well as how he receives different interpretations of his writing. Tune in for this new episode that is currently airing on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30 p.m.
Somerville-based singer-songwriter Greg Klyma recently stopped by the Milton Art Center to play a concert. His style orbits around the genres of Americana, folk, classic rock and old-school country, and he was recently announced as a 2017 grantee of the Passim Iguana Music Fund. Catch this brand new show as it airs during Music Thursdays on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) at 6:30 p.m.
Ted Reinstein, host and reporter for WCVB-TV Boston’s award-winning nightly news magazine program “Chronicle,” was back at the Milton Public Library recently to talk about his newest book, “New England’s General Stores.” Quaint nostalgia as well as regional commercial history are blended in this talk that is currently airing in the top slot during the Monday Forum at at 5 p.m. on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13).
