Jazz legend Sheila Jordan rose to fame in the mid-20th Century putting lyrics to the music of  Charlie Parker, while also pioneering a unique vocal style, gathering commendations from some of the most important names in the genre. In Boston for a recent performance, she stopped by the MATV studio to speak to Jeff Stoodt on the set of “You’ve Got To Have Art,” reflecting on her career, influences and some of the finer points of how she approaches her craft and teaching her students. Hear from one of the past 100 years’ most renowned jazz vocalists when this episode airs Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays at 1 p.m. as well as Thursdays at 4 p.m., all on the Public channel.

Boston Globe film critics Ty Burr and Janice Page return to the Milton Public Library for their annual dissection of the Academy Awards, “Handicapping the Oscars.” These two movie experts give their predictions on who will win and why, along with their takes on who got snubbed, industry subterfuge and all kinds of other insider information. Opinions will fly during this program (that does contain a spoiler or two, so viewer be warned) that is currently airing during the Monday Forum at 8 p.m. on the Public channel.

Professional photographer Ellen Rogers has been serious about taking photos since high school. As the latest guest on “Broad Appeal,” she shared the winding journey of her career in the medium, from finding the best college to pursue her passion, to pie-in-the-sky post-college years, agency work, covering weddings, working as a location and talent scout for films, to founding her own company, Ellen Rogers Photography, while raising a family. Anyone who has ever picked up a camera will enjoy this conversation that is currently airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and Thursdays at 9 a.m. on the Public channel.

A chamber trio from the Brockton Symphony Orchestra recently visited Fuller Village to perform “A Taste of Symphony.” This intimate, hour-long program features original compositions as well as some well-known works with regional roots played on piano, flute and clarinet. Brief informational backstories are included along with the music in this concert that is currently airing during Music Thursday at 5 p.m. on the Public channel.

Curry College professor Grant Burrier closes out his Fuller Village lecture series on Argentina with a survey of the country’s art. Beginning with some of the South American nation’s most prominent cultural symbols and institutions, this talk then moves into various prominent mediums, such as paintings, sculpture, music and dance. Find out why Buenos Aires is known as the Paris of South America when this presentation airs during the Monday Forum at 5 p.m. on the Public channel.
