Dylan Brody, who has written for Jay Leno’s monologue on “The Tonight Show,” opened for David Sedaris and authored an award-winning play, among other accolades, recently stopped by the set of “It’s All Write with Suzette” for an interview. Along with a brief performance, the humorist discussed thoughts on how to commit to writing on a regular basis, finding comfort on stage without pandering to the audience and the subtle differences between telling jokes and funny stories. This new episode is currently airing on the Public channel (Comcast 9/RCN 13) Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8:30 p.m.

Harold Arlen, the prolific early-20th century composer of many popular favorites including “The Wizard of Oz” theme “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” is the subject of exploration on a new episode of “Great American Songbook.” Host Jeff Stoodt delves into Arlen’s biography and catalogue, which many will find familiar. Tune in when this new episode airs at 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings, all on the Public channel.
